Miu Miu, Circa 2000s Raw Denim Anatomical Jacket with Nylon Tabs

Miuccia Prada is hailed for the blend which she created between technical fabrics and high fashion garments. The Miu Miu line was launched in 1998 and closed in 2008. Despite its insignificant commercial performance, unconventional design and playful takes on sartorial classics have made it a long-standing favourite among fashion enthusiasts.

Here we see a fine example of the minimalist design producing maximum effects. Constructed in lightweight grey raw denim, the jacket feels sporty, however, tailored beautifully to the body with the structural denim. Featuring a total of 4 pockets on the front, two chest pockets and two sewn into the seams of the panelling lower down. Most notably, an array of black/blue nylon pull tabs are placed carefully across the jacket; running down the centre closure, down each cuff and on the back waistband. The cut of the jacket is impeccably executed, with anatomical sleeves and body, whereby the shape arches and curves with the wearer's body.
