Originally presented in the Spring 1998 collection and inspired by German Air Force (Luftwaffe) bomber jackets, this iteration of Helmut Lang's renowned MA-1 bomber comes in a black resin coated cotton. Classic military details such as the MA-1 pocket detail on the left shoulder and versatile high neck collar are prevalent.
Further details include a hidden zipped chest pocket, two lower pockets and curvilinear panels with ventilation slits on the underarms. The interior is lined is a softer cotton with two internal chest pockets. The fit is slightly relaxed and oversized, with a cinched waist and cuffs. A must have piece for any Helmut Lang enthusiast.
