Martin Margiela, S/S 2001 Washed Denim Trucker

The denim jacket is a classic staple piece that Martin decided to incorporate into his men’s line. Introduced initially in his first men's collection, he later produced multiple variations in collection's to follow. Martin based his version on the classic Lee Trucker jacket, he then made slight adjustments to the fit and used much higher quality materials and finishings.

Here we see a fine example from the S/S 2001 collection, constructed in vintage washed purple denim. Features include two chest flap pockets and a  buttoned closure; cuffs and waist adjustment, finished off with marbled contrasting buttons.
