Maison Martin Margiela, A/W 2006 Felted Wool Peacoat with Detachable Faux Fur Collar

The peacoat is one of Margiela’s most revisited designs throughout the menswear line, bringing new fabrics and colours to nearly every fall season. Here we have a wonderful example of a classic silhouette with the Margiela take, constructed out of a soft felted purple wool we see classic detailing such as the double-breasted closure, two higher pockets, two lower flap pockets and an added green hue detachable faux fur collar. The construction on this piece is incredible and a great fit for any winter wardrobe.
