Maison Martin Margiela, A/W 2001 Cotton Short Nylon Caban Coat

A wonderfully constructed Caban style coat made out of a Cotton and Nylon blend offering a luxurious but long-lasting fabric, using a deep navy colour that has aged beautifully. The coat features a two-way collar button closure which allows the wearer to style accordingly. A shorter body, mid-level pockets and contrast stitching are all elements that were carefully considered during the production of this piece. Made for the A/W 2001 collection during the earlier stages of Margiela menswear.
