Issey Miyake, S/S 1987 Zippered Staff Sweater

This sweater was made and distributed for members of the Issey Miyake team to be worn backstage at the S/S 1987 runway show. Constructed in a soft cotton and an oversized cropped fit, the sweater most prominently features a functional zipper that runs from arm cuff to arm cuff. This zipper allows for a variety of wearable permutations, even the head hole which can become covered by the zipper. However, the zipper itself cannot be enclosed fully as it has been tracked in a manner which stops it. The front right of the sweater also features a zipped pocket, and finally the back is seen to feature a matte-white logo print.
