Helmut Lang, S/S 2003 Inside-out Indigo Raw Denim Jeans

A stunning pair of denim from the Spring 2003 collection, in which different variations of Inside Out trousers and jeans for both man & woman were shown and presented alongside other deconstructed garments.

Helmut Lang’s minimalistic designs turn convention on its head by fabricating this pair from the inside out placing a panel usually used for tailoring on the outside to extend over the knee. Cut to a slim fit with a straight leg, offering a roomy yet sleek look. Using treated raw denim as the base which will only age well with wear, this time coming in an almost unworn condition.
