Helmut LangS/S 2000 Pillow Neck 3D Pocket Bondage Jacket

For Helmut Lang, the S/S 2000 collection hugely focused on simple shapes and translucent fabrics which created an emphasis on lightness. On the contrary to this, the Helmut Lang Jeans label took a much different angle with a reference to the A/W 1999 collection by creating a cutting edge streetwear selection. Although they were not shown in the presentation, the garments produced are still highly sought after.

The most prominent feature on the jacket includes the distinctive neck rest collar (inspired by the shape of travel pillows), concealing a functional hood and is fully removable. A series of multi-compartment pockets decorate the front of the jacket with two lower ones, two chest ones, and one placed on the upper right side. A button closure is seen with one exposed button half way down the length. On the interior, Lang's iconic bondage straps can be used to attach the jacket like a harness to the wearer’s body, while a lower waist strap secured with D-rings hangs visibly below the hem.
