The Helmut Lang S/S 1993 runway show featured an instantaneous ‘vintage’ and gently worn vibe to this collection without being overly kitschy. A large amount of Christian imagery particularly the Holy Cross was on show during this collection in the form of prints, embroideries, casts, engravings and metal pins. Most notable to the collection was a large amount of leather and form-fitting tailoring including Lang’s influential shapes also seen in years to follow. An amazing collection of nostalgic memory, this still holds strong in the fashion world over the past 25+ years.
This extremely rare belt features a wide leather strap with an adjustable hook closure on top of a convex pressed buckle design, using imagery seen across the S/S 93 show, with a sword placed over a bird or prey. A practical and stunning design is essential for any collectors wardrobe.
Size fully adjustable to any waist up to 36” waist.
