Helmut Lang, S/S 1992 Contrast Collar Cropped Button Up

A fine example of Helmut’s early work before his Jeans line launched, this shirt features an extremely wide body cut with a cropped body and bowling style collar. The collar detail wrap around the back of the neck, a detail which would then go on to features in a wide range of his work thereafter. Finally, a singular chest pocket is placed on the left chest and the shirt is finished off with pearlised buttons.
