Helmut Lang, A/W 1998 4-Pocket Distressed Denim Trucker Jacket

Among Helmut Lang’s plethora of denim jacket designs that were showcased throughout his career, the 4-Pocket iteration of the classic denim jacket is considered to be one of the rarest. This design was exclusive to the A/W 1998 show, the design showcases Lang's minimalist approach whilst still including the increased practicality by the use of 4 pockets - two back pocket shapes on the upper and two in the seams on the lower.

Featuring a slim cut to the waist and wider shoulders it gives a flattering look on the body. Constructed in vintage treated denim used across a lot of his work, which ages beautifully over time, especially in this case where the prolonged wear and distressing shows across the garment, making it an individual piece. More details include stitch pleat cuffs and a button waist adjustment. In true Helmut Lang style, the attention to detail is present, the hardware across the jacket has a matte silver finish and is engraved with the Helmut Lang logo.
