Helmut Lang, A/W 1997 Nylon Blazer With Elbow Slits

The Helmut Lang jeans line was just one year old in 1997 and it was producing some of its best and most coveted pieces in it’s short history. Garments such as the bulletproof vest, the M-51 military parka which was taken on with Langs twist and a wide array of new fabric treatments for denim.

Construced out of a heavy woven nylon, with anglular panelling and elbow slits, the blazer give and aggressive yet elegant look. Using a single button to close the blazer to finish off.
