Helmut Lang, A/W 1997 Double Layered Mesh Polo With Elbow Slits
The Helmut Lang jeans line was just one year old in 1997 and it was producing some of its best and most coveted pieces in it’s short history. Garments such as the bulletproof vest, the M-51 military parka which was taken on with Langs twist and a wide array of new fabric treatments for denim.
Constrcuted out a woven mesh, double layered to give a translucent look. With a polo neck and extended stitch detail down the middle. The classic embow slit detail in seen here, alongside pearlised button and cropped body.
Length: 62cm Condition: 8/10 (small hole on inner layer of fabric, unoticeable when worn).
