Helmut Lang, 1998 Asymetrical 3 Pocket Trucker Jacket

Helmut Lang was seen to produce seemingly endless variations of his signature styles, each season refining and experimenting with different details, fabrics and cuts.

Here we see a rare iteration of the classic trucker jacket, offering this version produced in 1998 in a military sateen, a study cotton fabric with a subtle shine. The jacket features 3 pockets on the front with a fraying chest patch on the left - adding to the reconstructed look the leather brand tag has been stitched to the outside of the garment, a detail we have not seen until handling this piece.
