Helmut Lang, 1996 Type 1 Over-dyed Heavy Denim Jacket 

Here we have an early iteration of one of many denim jackets produced by Helmut Lang, with the production being with GTR, to begin with, much better in terms of fabrics and construction than later years. Using tight woven cotton which has been over-dyed to form a deep black look, the jacket sees a singular flap pocket on the left of the body and a stripped backed Levi’s Type 1 minimal design for the rest of the piece. Finished with branded matte hardware.
