Emporio Armani, Circa 1990s Technical Zipped Jacket
Emporio Armani was founded in the early 1980s by renowned designer Giorgio Armani after the success of his namesake label. With a wide array of inspirations taken from military garments and working with technical fabrics in Italy, the clothing produced - before moving its production to China - holds impressive quality and desirability.
Constructed in a linen and nylon blend this jacket has a luxurious yet functional effect on the wearer. This blend of materials allows for the faint purple hue in the grey base colour to show up nicely, the overall fit is boxy and the two-way zipper allows for multiple ways to style the jacket. A parallel design on the front showcases long-hidden zipper pockets which extends upwards. Further details include vents in the pits, a velcro mock neck closure and velcro waist adjustment.
