Dries Van Noten, 1990s Double Breasted Lined Coat with Astro Detailing

Here we see a wonderful piece from the early menswear work by Dries, categorised by the different tag to now. Using a classic double-breasted shape dries then added his twist by using a faux fur lining spilling out to the collar and creating a contrasting effect. An easily missed but crucial detail is the Astro detailing added to the arms, with the panelling and curved pattern. Finally, trompe l’oeil belt loops and hidden darts have been added to the body.
