Comme des Garçons, Spring Summer 2008, Deconstructed Nylon Blazer
For her SS 2008 collection models looked in a rush with their wet faces and messy hair, a wide range of tailoring was seen to be layered upon one another with some being ripped and stitched back together. An indigo object dying process was seen across a wide array of looks, which splashes of colour coming from the floral two pieces later in the show.
This jacket has been constructed in a wool and nylon mix whereby the jacket is split into two halves. The back being nylon and the front mostly wool. A reconstruction takes place down the centre of the front pocket with a raw hem finish. Furthermore, the blazer has been object dyed after the making which has left the nylon dyed a deep blue colour. A two button closure finally closes the jacket.
